Tomori Terms of Use
Effective date: 29 July 2026
Product: Tomori (iOS & Android)
Contact: [email protected]
These terms apply when you use Tomori. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. If something here is unclear, ask us before relying on your own reading of it.
1. Agreement
By downloading or using Tomori, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are under the minimum age in your region (13, or higher where local law requires), Tomori is not intended for you.
2. What Tomori is
Tomori is a focus timer with a companion character. It stores your focus history on your device and works fully offline. It is a productivity and habit tool.
Tomori is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats, or manages any condition, including attention or anxiety conditions. If you need care, speak to a qualified professional.
3. Your licence to use Tomori
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Tomori on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or extract the app's artwork, audio, or code, except where local law expressly permits it regardless of contract.
The companion illustrations, the soundscape audio, the Tomori name and branding remain ours. Buying an in-app unlock buys you the right to use that content inside Tomori — it does not transfer ownership of it.
4. Purchases
Tomori is free to download. It offers one optional one-time purchase, the Atelier Soundscapes unlock, which adds four more atmospheres you can use during focus sessions. You can listen to every atmosphere before buying.
- Payment is handled by Apple or Google, under their terms and using their payment methods. We never see or receive your card or account details.
- Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy — not by us. We cannot issue, reverse, or expedite a store refund. If a purchase did not unlock what it should have, contact us and we will help you sort it out with the store or with our billing provider.
- Your purchase is tied to your store account, not to Tomori. Use Restore purchases on the purchase screen after a reinstall or on a new device signed in to the same store account. If you enable Cloud Sync, the purchase can also be restored on your other platform.
- There is no subscription. The Atelier unlock is a one-time purchase and is yours to keep. If we introduce a subscription in future, it will be offered separately, with its price and renewal terms shown before you buy, and it will never convert an existing one-time purchase into a recurring charge.
- Prices are set per region by the store and may change. A price change never affects something you have already bought.
Everything the app does today without paying — focus sessions, streaks, your companion, the three free atmospheres, and Cloud Sync — stays free. We will not move an existing free feature behind a purchase.
5. Your data
Your focus history and companion progress are yours. How they are stored and what is optionally shared is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Cloud Sync is a free, optional convenience — not a guaranteed archive. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose; the app's Export My Data control produces one. We are not liable for loss of synced data, including loss caused by service interruption or by your own use of the delete controls.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- attempt to obtain paid content without paying for it, or help others do so;
- interfere with, overload, or probe our backend services;
- use Tomori in a way that breaks the law where you are.
7. Availability and changes
We may update Tomori, change how features work, or discontinue optional cloud services. Where a change would remove something you have paid for, we will either keep it working or tell you in advance. Offline use does not depend on our servers, and is unaffected by any interruption to them.
8. Disclaimer
Tomori is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for your focus, productivity, or wellbeing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost time arising from your use of Tomori. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country, including any statutory refund or guarantee rights. Where those rights conflict with anything above, those rights win.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Tomori at any time by deleting the app; the in-app controls let you export, erase local data, and delete a cloud backup first. We may suspend access to optional cloud services if they are being abused in a way that threatens the service for others.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Tomori evolves. The effective date above will change, and material changes will be reflected here and in the in-app link. Continuing to use Tomori after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
