Getting started
How do I start my first session?
Open Tomori, choose Aria, Haru, or Koda, tap Start Focus, pick a duration, and begin. You can add an optional intention before the timer starts.
Which companion should I pick?
Each companion has the same core features today. Choose whoever feels right — you can switch anytime from Profile.
Sessions & soundscapes
Can I mute soundscapes during a session?
Yes. Tap the soundscape control on the session screen to mute or change the ambient loop.
What happens if I leave the app mid-session?
Tomori keeps counting down in the background. Return to the session screen to see remaining time.
Privacy & data
How do I delete my cloud backup?
In Profile, open Cloud Sync and choose Delete Cloud Backup & Sign Out. Your local on-device history and companion state stay on your phone.
Where is the full privacy policy?
Read the complete policy at gettomori.app/privacy. Analytics, crash reports, and Cloud Sync are all opt-in.
Troubleshooting
Reminders are not firing (Android)

Still stuck?
Email [email protected] with your device model, OS version, and what you expected to happen. We read every message.
From the landing page
Is Tomori a Pomodoro timer?
No. Tomori is a focus companion — a calm ritual with a character who grows with you, not a productivity dashboard or task manager.
Does Tomori work offline?
Yes. The full focus loop — sessions, bond, streaks, and history — works fully offline on your device.
Is Cloud Sync free?
In the current release, yes. Cloud Sync is an optional anonymous backup at no extra cost. It stays off until you enable it in Profile.
Does Tomori collect data by default?
No. Analytics, crash reports, and Cloud Sync are all opt-in. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is Tomori free to download?
Yes. Tomori is free to download on iOS and Android.
